Domaine Boyar has existed since 1991, being the first winery to be established as a private enterprise after the fall of socialism in Bulgaria. Today, the company is one of the country's leading wine producers and now has an international foothold in markets in Europe, America and Asia. Domaine Boyar has two winery sites. One of them is located where the foothills of the Balkan Mountains become the Thracian Plain. The name of the nearby natural monument "Sinite Skali" or "Blue Rocks" also became the name of the winery. It is one of the largest and most modern in the whole of Eastern and Central Europe. During the subsequent distillation, the aim is to bring out the typical character of the grape varieties in correspondence with the unique terroir.
