With real plum in every bottle
Bonidex Trakish Plum Rakija flows amber into the glass, where it unfolds its typical aroma of fully ripe plums. The excellently balanced Rakija is characterized by a pleasant mouthfeel with its equally gentle and soft taste. In a pronounced reverberation it remains for a long time. Enjoy this specialty from Thrace best slightly chilled, for example, as an aperitif or to toast in a cozy round. As a special extra, each bottle contains a real plum from the sun-drenched orchards in southern Bulgaria.
A Rakija with a plumy extra
Bonidex Thracian Plum Rakija is an exceptional Rakija. It is young and traditional at the same time. It is made by Bonidex distillery, located in Plovdiv, southern Bulgaria, the second largest city in the country. Since its founding in 1993, Bonidex has quickly become a producer that brings innovative ideas to its products. These include creative bottle formats, as well as new definitions of long-known spirits. Bonidex Trakish Plum Rakija is an example of the latter.
Bonidex Thracian Plum Rakija more fruit fewer revolutions
Plums enjoy a high status in Bulgaria. They are eaten fresh, made into juices, jellies and jams, and used in confectionery. They are also used to make liqueurs and the famous plum rakija. Many of the particularly sought-after plum brandies called Slivovitsa come from the south and southeast of Bulgaria. They are known not only as fruity, but also as fiery. However, Bonidex Thracian Plum Rakija is not a classic plum brandy at all. This is because it must have a minimum alcohol content of 37.5% by volume. In the case of Bonidex Trakische Pflaume Rakija, this is somewhat lower at 36% vol. Thus, it still has an expressive spiciness, but places an emphasis on balanced, fruity flavors. As a result, Bonidex Thracian Plum Rakija is just right for occasions when a plum liqueur is too sweet, but a hard slivovitz is too strong.
