Grape variety: Viognier

Tasting Notes:
Sparkling golden color with light green reflections. Intense, juicy nose with aromas of ripe peaches, white flowers and vanilla cream.  Round, harmonious body with hints of peach cream, toasted almonds combined with delicate freshness and long finish.

Region:
The vineyards of the Four Friend winery, that is located near the village of Gorno Botevo in the Thracian Plain, blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape, as if they were growing here naturally.

Climate and soil:
The mild temperatures and suitable sandy loam soils are extremely favorable for the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot.

Harvest:
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, and the bunches are sorted by hand to ensure that only healthy and clean berries enter the winepress bucket.

Winemaking:
Four Friends wines are made using classic methods with an exceptionally high percentage of hand production. Almost 50% of the wines have been aged in French oak barriques between 10-12 months.

The winery itself is an interesting combination of modern equipment and technology on the one hand, and many years of tradition and experience in the art of winemaking on the other. The wines are aged in oak barrels and gravity is used in the cellar whenever possible.
