Product description

This fabulous Papillon Merlot which comes from well ripened and aged grapes from vineyards in the Struma Valley, southwest Bulgaria, is truly delicate as a butterfly.

After fermentation at the Logodaj winery, the Merlot is aged for 8 to 10 months in French oak barrels and another 3 months in bottle before delivery. The Logodaj Papillon Merlot has a dark ruby color and aromas of black cherry, blue plum, spice and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied and has a long taste with notes of vanilla and dark chocolate.

At a drinking temperature between 18 - 20 degrees, it is a harmonious companion to game, red meat and hard cheeses.
