The ball/pendant of the Martenizi - bracelet can vary in shape and color.

The Marteniza is essentially a talisman for health and long life, which is symbolized respectively by the colors: red for red cheeks or white for white hair and old age. It is worn on the left side (where the heart is) or as a bracelet on the left arm. The red and white lucky charms are worn until one sees a first sign of spring - a stork, a swallow or a blossoming tree. Then (by April 1 at the latest) you hang them on a tree or place them under a stone and make a wish.
