For Isperih brand Apricot Rakia combines the exotic strong aroma of ripe apricots from the Danube region with the elegant and soft flavor of oak barrels. 7 kg of apricots from the northeast of Bulgaria are needed to create just one bottle of fruit brandy with this wonderful taste.

The fruit brandy is allowed to mature for three years in small oak barrels before it is bottled. That's enough time to add a subtle spice to the sweet, fruity apricot flavor. The oak barrels conjure up a nuance of soft vanilla in the fruit brandy, which also gets a slightly smoky finish. At 40% alcohol by volume, this is probably the nicest way to enjoy apricots. The full body of the Rakia comes out best at a serving temperature of about 16° to 18° C.
