Aureo's Chardonnay is best enjoyed well chilled. It is suitable as a fruity summer wine and is a perfect companion to fish and seafood. It also harmonizes perfectly with white meat and traditional vegetable dishes of Bulgarian and Mediterranean cuisine.

Svishtov is one of the traditional wine-growing centers of the Danube lowlands, which belong to the northern wine-growing region of Bulgaria. Here, between the Balkan Mountains and the Danube, vines find ideal climatic conditions. Thanks to the favorable climate, viticulture was already practiced on a large scale here around the Roman city of Nove in ancient times. Even then, the wines produced in today's Svishtov region found numerous buyers far beyond the region and developed early on into a sought-after export commodity.
