Gorchivka is produced in the Svishtov Winery from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes and belongs to the premium series of the traditional house.

The grapes come from the northern growing region of Bulgaria in the Danube lowlands. Here, viticulture already has a two-thousand-year tradition. Even the Romans knew how to use the excellent climatic conditions of this region accordingly, and the ancient city of Nove, on the site of which Svishtov is located today, was already known as a center of wine production in Roman antiquity. Even then, the wines produced here enjoyed great popularity not only within the region, but also throughout Europe.

This outstanding Chardonnay is characterized by a typical taste and complex aromas. Its mineral nature is rounded by smoky nuances and walnut aromas, as well as notes of toasted almond, papaya and dried fruit, complemented by subtle oak tones. On the palate, this wine presents itself elegant, soft and wonderfully structured. It impresses with a delicious, long-lasting finish.

Gorchivka Chardonnay is an ideal wine for hot summer days. It is particularly suitable as an accompaniment to white meat and to fish, but also to various vegetable dishes. Gorchivka Chardonnay should be enjoyed well chilled, so that the multi-layered flavors are well accentuated.
