Targovishte Mastika is a light aperitif from the large family of world famous anise aperitifs.

This sublime temptation is made according to a special recipe from high quality alcohol and a gentle touch of anise oil, which forms the typical crystals of Mastika when it cools down. Anise oil is known for its stimulating, refreshing and toning effect (also known as an aphrodisiac) and its unique exotic taste.

Targovishte Mastika fits like a perfect love affair with delicious traditional Bulgarian vegetables and snow-white cheese, so it reveals its full flavor in combination with traditional Bulgarian Schopska salad.

Traditionally, Mastika is drunk with Schopska salad diluted with water, so it gets its typical milky color.

Enjoy Mastika from Vinprom Targovishte on ice, as a long drink with a little cold water, or neat and iced, defined by the sparkling crystals that appear after chilling.
