It has existed since 1948 and is located on the outskirts of the small town of Troyan in the northern Bulgarian oblast of Lovech. Brandies from here have always enjoyed an excellent reputation. As a result, Vinprom-Troyan was transformed into an independent company as early as 1959 - an outstanding privilege in the socialist state economy of the time. Vinprom-Troyan used this opportunity for extensive modernization. The first modern distillation plant was purchased to supplement the traditional distillation boilers. From the end of the 1960s onwards, the steady increase in production capacity made it necessary to repeatedly expand the plant extensively.
