For Isperih brand Apricot Rakia combines the exotic strong aroma of ripe apricots from the Danube region with the elegant and soft flavor of oak barrels. 7 kg of apricots from the northeast of Bulgaria are needed to create just one bottle of fruit brandy with this wonderful taste.

The fruit brandy is allowed to mature for three years in small oak barrels before it is bottled. That's enough time to add a subtle spice to the sweet, fruity apricot flavor. The oak barrels conjure up a nuance of soft vanilla in the fruit brandy, which also gets a slightly smoky finish. At 40% alcohol by volume, this is probably the nicest way to enjoy apricots. The full body of the Rakija comes out best at a serving temperature of about 16° to 18° C.

The very aromatic fruits of the summer pear variety are the basis of the fruity fruit brandy, which is allowed to mature for three years in small oak barrels. Only 50 liters fit into such a barrel - no wonder that the Isperih Pear Rakia is such an impressive taste experience!

The delicate, fruity flavor of the pears is complemented by the vanilla aromas of the oak barrels, which add a bit of mild spice. In the finish, the fruit brandy is again fruity and sweet. Seductive aromas of quince paired with elegant vanilla.

The Isperih region in northeastern Bulgaria is known for fruity, elegant and exceedingly harmonious fruit brandies. Quince Rakija is no exception. Two different varieties of quince from the Dobrich region are used in its production, namely Asenitza and Pazardjik apple quince.

The s'mores of the typical Bulgarian varieties are allowed to remain on the trees until they are really ripe - this gives the fruit brandy its full, fruity aroma with the slight sweetness of the fruit. The long aging in oak barrels gives the Rakia a gentle vanilla note and provides smoky nuances in the finish. 16° to 18° C is the optimal temperature to enjoy this harmonious and elegant fruit brandy. About 10 kg of quinces are contained in one bottle of Isperih Quince Rakia.

Cherry brandy of a special variety.

Cherry Rakia is a traditional fruit brandy made from pitted cherries of Bing, Van, Cordi and Lambert varieties. By pitting the cherries, they lose their bitterness, so the cherries can develop their full sweetness and fruity aroma in the fruit brandy. And it is truly overwhelming: after three years of aging in small oak barrels, the fruity flavor of the cherries behaves with gentle vanilla tones and a slightly smoky aroma, which, however, only comes to the fore in the finish.

Cherry Rakija comes from the regions of Plovdiv and Isperih. With its 40% alcohol by volume, the fruit brandy is excellent to enjoy slowly and in small quantities. Awarded in 2016 with a bronze medal and a silver medal.
