The grapes were harvested three weeks after the main harvest for dry wines and stored for further drying on grids in an airy place away from direct sunlight to further concentrate the sugars and flavors. Finally, Sweet Wine Melnik 55 - Late Harvest was bottled without any contact with oak. This noble late harvest is available only in 0.375l bottles and in limited edition.

Tasting Notes:
Due to long ripening in October on the vine and drying after harvest, these grapes have reached a tremendous must weight and have acquired a noble sweet taste, as is traditional in the region. Late Harvest Melnik 55 is an excellent juicy sweet wine with aromas of noble overripe black cherries, coffee and liqueur with intense dense fruit, good acidity as well as a chocolaty finish.
