Original Pliska Liqueur Chocolate is vinified from the Dimyat and Ugni Blanc (Trebbiano) grape varieties. The Ugni Blanc grape originally comes from the Italian Tuscany and is called Trebbiano Toscano there. This white grape variety is also grown in the Cognac region of France. Cognac is a term for brandy. Thus, the Ugni Blanc vine gives the chocolatey Pliska liqueur an authentic brandy character. The distillates from the fully ripe, sun-drenched grapes are aged in Strandzha oak barrels for this special liqueur. The distillates mature for around five years in these barrels, which have a capacity of between 450 and 600 liters. During the resting period, the Pliska liqueur develops its full potential. After that, the rich cuvée is transferred to storage barrels with a capacity of ten tons. Aging in the large Strandzha oak barrels takes three months and gives the brandy a harmonious, excellently balanced character.

When the perfect Pliska Liqueur Chocolate comes out of the bottle, it reveals a rich chocolate color followed by a beguiling bouquet of intense chocolaty aromas. Accents of exotic coconut complement the beguiling aromatic composition. The palate is spoiled by the Pliska liqueur with delicate sweetish nuances paired with authentic brandy flavor. In the finish you feel delicate chords of fragrant vanilla. Thanks to the long aging time in oak barrels, this aroma-rich liqueur has a soft, full-bodied taste.
