Three generations and three grapes in one wine!

Zagreus Three Generations is a unique wine created by three generations of wine knowledge and creativity. It is a blend of Mavrud, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon fermented under temperature controlled stainless steel stills and then aged for 14 months in 225L new Bulgarian oak barriques.

Tasting Notes:
Zagreus Three Generations displays a soft red color with brick red hues. Its bouquet is complex, offering notes of juicy black cherry, freshly made blackberry jam, roasted pumpkin, elderberries and cinnamon. On the palate it presents itself pure, juicy and with a good fruit content, combined with the powerful imprint of the terroir. Soft and delicate musky notes, leather accents and elegant oak barrel flavors make for a rich and balanced taste experience.

Food Pairing:

"It all started in the winter of 2001 in the living room of our house in Parvomay. My grandfather, my father and I were sitting together and talking about the future. That was the moment when we decided to create Zagreus.

My grandfather had to be in place to manage it. My father had to find funding and I had to make good on my promise to return home after completing my studies abroad and continue what we had started.

Looking back, more than 20 years later, I can say - we did it! Three generations with one goal - to leave something behind! Three generations and three grapes in one wine!

This wine is dedicated to our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather Dimitar, who passed his dreams to us."
