The wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes. It is a grape variety originating from France, which is now grown all over the world. This grape variety has risen so high in the wine world that it has reached the rank of a noble grape. Worldwide, about 145,000 hectares of land are planted with the grape variety. The wine comes from the Zagreus Winery. From 2010, Zagreus Winery grows vines in its vineyards according to the principles of European organic farming. After three years of transition: in 2013 the wines that have been grown here were certified as organic. In this sense, in 2014, through the gradual introduction of organic wines, the wines of the Tiara series will also be adopted, this includes the red wine Syrah Tiara.

Tasting Notes:
The Syrah has a beautiful deep red color. The aromas of the wine are the interplay of elderberry and fresh, ripe cherries interspersed with nuances of currants, cocoa and finally subtle vanilla. The aromas are animating and fine-smelling, juicy and round. The red wine can be drunk with pleasure and goes well with beef, game and even more hearty dishes not only from Bulgarian cuisine.

Region:
The Thracian Plain is part of the large southern Bulgarian wine region. It is well protected from cold winds north of the Balkan Mountains and further from the south central part of the Rhodopes.

Climate and soil:
Temperate with over 3,000 hours of sunshine during the year and over 110 clear days. Hot, dry summers with warm nights. Soft and warm winters without spring frosts. Sandy-loamy and calcareous soils.
