Eko Mes

The aim is to preserve the traditional taste of the products by offering each customer high and constant quality. All production processes are carried out with the most modern equipment and permanent technological control.

The company Eko Mes SLtd. is situated in the beautiful hills of the mountain Sredna Gora in the village Velichkovo. Here in the land of the Thracians, on one of the oldest Roman roads, the sausage products are produced according to old Bulgarian recipes.

Eko Mes SLtd. was established in 1998 and has an IFS FOOD certificate dated 6 April 2014. During the years of activity they have managed to gain the trust of customers and in 2006, in order to satisfy the increased demand for Eko Mes products, a new factory was opened, which was built according to the specifications and requirements of the EU. In 2008 the capacities were further increased. At present there is a built-up area consisting of a production unit, drying facilities and offices on over 30 hectares of land with 15,000 square meters.

The availability of sufficient drying plants allows the specialization in the production of long sausages: raw sausages, meat specialties, cooked, smoked and fresh dry sausages. The factory has a production capacity of 50 tons per day and currently 25 tons per day are produced.

The production includes a wide range of smoked and freshly dried sausages sold on the market under the brands "Eko Mes" and "Lia". At present the production program includes 250 products. The availability of sufficient drying equipment allows us to meet the customers' requirements and to deliver the products on time and in good quality.

According to market researches of "GfK - Institute for Marketing Researches", published in the magazine - "Regal" for retail trade, Eko Mes Ltd. is the leader in the segment of Shpek sausages and mainly with Shpek sausages under the trade mark "Burgas". In the segment of fresh dried sausages and especially "Lukankov Kolbas" - EKO MES SLtd. is once again the leader in this segment with a 28.6% share in volume and 29.3% share in value.

The team consists of about 300 qualified specialists, most of whom are young people with the necessary qualifications and willingness to further improve their knowledge.

Eko Mes GmbH is authorized for trade within the EU member states. For the production of the sausage products the most modern machines and technologies of leading European companies are used.

Eko Mes SLtd. has direct partnerships with meat producers in the EU and the meat is delivered directly from other EU countries to the company's own factory. The company has its own cold chains and delivers goods to customers all over Bulgaria. The company has a well developed distribution network for Bulgaria.
