New Bloom Winery

The brands Verano Azur, Pixels and F2F - Face 2 Face are produced in a winery in the town of Saedinenie in the Thracian Valley, 22 km northwest of the city of Plovdiv. The winery holds and cultivates a total of 6000 hectares of vineyards in the villages of Nayden Gerovo, Pravishte, Dragomir etc. in the Nayden Gerovo region. The grape varieties cultivated there include the well-known traditional Bulgarian grape varieties as well as country-specific varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat, and the European varieties Dornfelder, Regent and Glera, which are atypical for Bulgaria. Wines of these varieties will be launched on the market shortly.

The winery was completely renovated in 2002, covers an area of 700 square meters and produces over 2 million high quality wines. It is one of the most technologically advanced wineries and has unique modern technology and facilities, which was financed with an investment of over BGN 4.4 million. This is one of the most advanced wineries, unique for the country of Bulgaria and in line with the latest world standards. In 2014 a new bottling line was completed, which covers the entire production process. Also in the winery in the town of Saedinenie is the most modern laboratory in the country for quality control of all production processes. The aging, processing and control of the vineyards is supervised by an expert team of oenologists and farmers who are systematically trained and apply the latest global practices.

Verano Azur is produced for the New Bloom Winery in the town of Saedinenie. The Verano Azur wine series consists of four varieties: White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay & Viognier), Rosé (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Red Wine (Syrah & Marselan) and, brand new, the summer wine Verano Azur Glera - This is another white wine in a long line of unique wines from New Bloom Winery, which has used lesser known varieties in the past. Apart from Glera, the winery uses the German varieties Dronfelder and Regent, which are included in the Pixels and Face to Face series and are grown quite successfully in Bulgaria. You can recognize the Verano Azur by the colorful labels that have become the Verano Azur's calling card. For this product the label is warm yellow.

The design of the bottles and the labels as well as the characteristics of the Verano Azur wines are very similar to those of the New World - fruity, easy to drink wines with soft tannins, full-bodied and smooth texture. In order to preserve the fullness of aromas and wine qualities for as long as possible, all Verano Azur wines are closed with a screw cap.
