Company History of Vinprom Troyan

Vinprom Troyan AD is a national leader in the production of natural fruit distillates and spirits (rakija). The company annually purchases over 5,000 tons of fruit, which is processed using a special traditional technology that preserves the unadulterated taste and aroma of Troyan plum brandy. Plum distillate accounts for more than 90% of Vinprom Troyan's total production, including the production of apricot, apple, pear and cherry distillate. Troyan plum brandy is registered in the European Register of Protected Geographical Indications, which confirms the unique place of the brand on the Bulgarian and international market. It has won numerous prizes, awards and medals from prestigious international and national awards and tastings. Since 2007, Vinprom Troyan AD has become part of the Czech joint-stock company Rudolf Jelinec, the largest producer of fruit distillates in Europe. The company maintains long-term trade relations with foreign partners in the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia and the USA, for which it exports its products every year.
