Tasting Notes:
Intense and brilliant ruby red color. The nose is fruity and attractive, slightly developed: Moss and earthy hints and ripe black fruits. Balanced, medium-bodied with ripe fruit on the palate - plum, black cherry. Soft and balanced finish. A wine that can be served with all traditional Bulgarian dishes such as moussaka, stuffed peppers or banitsa. Beautiful ruby color. Delicate nose with juicy sour cherry, cranberry, smoke and raisins. Soft and juicy body with attractive accent of red stone fruits (morello, cherries) and elegant tannins in the aftertaste.

Grape Variety: 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Region:
The Thracian Plain is part of the large southern Bulgarian wine region. It is well protected from cold winds north of the Balkan Mountains and further from the south central part of the Rhodopes.

Climate and soil:
Temperate with over 3,000 hours of sunshine during the year and over 110 clear days. Hot, dry summers with warm nights. Soft and warm winters without spring frosts. Sandy-loamy and calcareous soils.

Harvest:
Careful selective hand harvest in crates followed by sorting of the grapes in the winery.

Vinification:
Cold maceration at 10ºC for 8 days. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in an inox container at a controlled temperature of 27ºC. Infusion after fermentation. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
