Tasting Notes:
As soon as it is poured, the dry Bulgarian wine spoils the eye with its luminous countenance, crossed by light reflections. On the nose, the wine's fruity aroma quickly unfolds with an indescribable intensity. The palate reveals a full-bodied character coupled with soft tannins and a balanced structure. On the finish, the red Bulgarian wine leaves a light and delicate aftertaste that promises a long-lasting pleasure. The wine is an excellent companion to hearty roast dishes or hearty pasta al forno.

Region:
The Thracian Plain is part of the large southern Bulgarian wine region. It is well protected from cold winds north of the Balkan Mountains and further from the south central part of the Rhodopes.

Climate and soil:
Temperate with over 3,000 hours of sunshine during the year and over 110 clear days. Hot, dry summers with warm nights. Soft and warm winters without spring frosts. Sandy-loamy and calcareous soils.
